2022: Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) experienced growth in net sales across all its major geographic markets except Japan. The United States, which is the largest single market of the company accounted for $147.9 billion in net sales in 2022 compared to $133.8 billion in the prior year ($14.05 billion higher). On the other hand, the company generated $74.2 billion in net sales from china in 2022 compared to $68.4 billion in the prior year ($5.8 billion YoY increase). Apple’s net sales in the US were close to double of China in 2022. The other remaining countries accounted for $172.3 billion in the company’s net sales in 2022 compared to $163.65 billion in the prior year.

China and the US are two of Apple’s largest geographic markets. No other country accounted for more than 10% of the company’s net sales in 2021.
The company experienced solid revenue growth from both the US and China in 2021 compared to the previous year. Its net revenues from the US grew by around 22.55% in 2021 compared to the last year while revenues from China grew by 70% in 2021 compared to 2020.
Apple’s net revenues from the United States were $133.8 billion in 2021 compared to $68.4 billion from China. Its net revenues from the US were $65.8 billion higher than revenue from China in 2021.
After 2015, 2021 was Apple’s best year in China. In 2015, the company generated $58.7 billion in revenues from the Chinese market, following which, its revenues from China kept sliding. Having touched $51.9 billion in 2018, it slid again, but in 2021, its revenue again rose to the highest from the Chinese market.
