In fiscal 2022, Tesla enjoyed solid growth in vehicle sales and resulting strong revenue growth. while its automobile sales grew 52%, the company experienced 51% growth in its total annual net revenue in 2022 compared to the prior year. Its 2022 revenue was $81.5 billion compared to $53.8 billion in the prior year.

2021: Tesla experienced solid growth in its net revenues driven by strong improvement in its automobile sales in 2021 compared to the previous year. Its total net revnues increased 71% in 2021 compared to 2020. The company generated $53,823 million in net revenues in 2021 compared to $31,536 million in 2020. Its net sales of automobiles increased by almost $20 billion in 2021 compared to the last year. Tesla generated $47.2 billion from the sales of automobiles in 2021 compared to $27.2 billion in 2020.

The net revenue of Tesla Motors grew to $24.6 billion in 2019 from $21.5 billion last year.

Net Revenue of Tesla Motors saw sharp growth in 2018. From $11.76 billion in 2017, the net revenue of Tesla rose to $21.46 billion in 2018; yoy growth of 82% approximately. 

Tesla has grown famous in a very short span of time for its fully electric vehicle models. It is an innovative car brand. Tesla has brought three models – Models S, X and Model 3. The first two are premium models targeted at the higher end market; Model 3 is a more affordable model.  Tesla also intends to bring a more affordable variant of Model 3 with prices starting from $35K.

Compared to 2017, while the net revenues of the brand rose sharply in 2018, its net losses also reduced. The company generates a large pat of its revenue from the sales of automobiles. However, it also generates revenue from other sources including energy generation and storage as well as services and other segment.

The revenue of Tesla has continued to grow fast. Apart from Automotive sales and leasing, the brand also earns from services as well as energy generation and storage products.  From 2 billion dollars in 2013, the brand has reached 11 billion dollars in 2017. Revenue from sales and leasing of automotives has more than trebled in four years. Its entire revenue from the automotive segment stood at 3192 million dollars in 2014 which has grown to 9641.3 million dollars in 2017.  Revenue from services and other segments has also grown more than triple. In 2015, its revenue from services and other segments stood at 290.5 millions  which has more than trebled in 2017 at 1001.19 million dollars. The revenue from energy generation and storage services has grown manifold in three years. From 14.5 millions in 2015, it has grown past 1.1 billion dollars in 2017.
