In fiscal 2023, the BMW group experienced an impressive increase in total unit sales compared to the prior year. The company sold total 2554,183 units of vehicles or 6.4% higher compared to the prior year. The sales of BMW brand vehicles reached 2,252,793 units or 7.2% higher compared to the prior year. BMW sold 295,358 units of MINI vehicles in 2023 compared to 292,922 units in 2022. The sales of RollsRoyce vehicles remained 6,032 units in 2023 compared to 6,021 units in 2022.

In 2022, BMW experienced a decline of 4.8% in its total unit sales of vehicles. While BMW and MINI brands experienced declining unit sales in 2022 compared to the prior year, Rolls Royce experienced an increase of 7.8%. BMW sold total 2,399,632 units of vehicles including 2,100,689 of BMW brand. In the previous year, the company had sold 2,213,790 units of BMW vehicles. The sales of MINI brand vehicles declined to 292,922 units in 2022 compared to 302,138 units in 2021. Rolls Royce sold 6,021 units in 2022 compared to 5,586 units in 2021(435 units higher).

In 2021, BMW experienced solid growth in its sales of vehicles compared to the previous year. The company sold 2,521,514 units in 2021 compared to 2,325,179 in 2020, yoy growth of 8.4%. The rollsRoyce brand (owned by BMW) experienced 48% growth in vehicle deliveries in 2021 compared to 2020. The BMW brand experienced 9.1% growth in vehicle deliveries and sold 2,213,790 units in 2021 compared to 2,028,841 units in 2020. MINI (also owned by BMW) sold 302,138 units in 2021 compared to 292,582 units in 2020.

The total number of passenger vehicles delivered to customers by the BMW group declined 8.4% in 2020 compared to the previous year. The BMW Group delivered a total of 2,325,179 automobiles in 2020 compared to 2,537,504 in 2019.

The BMW brand delivered a total of 2,028,841 vehicles in 2020 compared to 2,184,939 in 2019. The number of vehicles delivered by the BMW brand declined by 7.1% in 2020 as compared to 2019.

MINI (owned by the BMW group) delivered a total of 292,582 vehicles in 2020 compared to 347,465 in 2019; a decline of 15.8% compared to the last year.

Rolls Royce (Also owned by the BMW group) delivered a total of 3,756 vehicles in 2020 compared to 5,100 in 2019; a YoY decline of 26.4%.
