2022: The number of employees working for Adidas in 2022 was 59,258, compared to 61,401 in 2021.

2021: The number of Adidas employees in 2021 was 61,401 compared to 62,285 in 2020.

2019:

Number of employees working for Adidas at the end of the year 2019 was 59,533 in 2019 compared to 57,016 in 2018 ( year on year growth of aroound 4%).

2018:

Number of employees working for Adidas at the year end 2018 was 57,016. In 2017, this number stood at 56,888. The number of full time equivalent employees in 2018 working for Adidas was 49,563 (48,775 in 2017).

Adidas accepts the critical role of its employees in its success. The brand has focused on gender equality and diversity which it considers crucial elements of its strategy. In terms of gender equality, the brand has maintained a nearly equal share of both genders in the composition of its workforce.  Male and females both represent 50% of the entire workforce of Adidas. The share of women in management roles has increased over ,time. In 2015, the share of females in management roles was 29% which rose to 30% in 2016 and then to 31% in 2017.
