2021: In 2021, Starbucks generated $18.32 billion from the sales of beverages compared to $14.34 billion in 2020. The company generated $5.05 billion in net reveues from the sales of food in 2021 compared to $3.8 billion in 2020. Starbucks’ revenues from the sales of the other products equalled $5.7 billion in 2021 compared to $5.4 billion in 2020.

Starbucks is a leading coffee brand with a strong global presence. However, the US is the primary market of Starbucks accounting for 70% of its entire revenue. The business of Starbucks has been divided into four major product segments which include beverages, food, packaged and single-serve coffees, and teas as well as others.

The product segment that accounts for the largest part of the company’s revenue is the beverage category. It generated around 14.5 Billion US dollars in 2018 as revenue for Starbucks.

In 2020, Starbucks reclassified its products into three categories mainly including beverages, foods and others. Beverages are the leading category of products based on sales and generated $14.34 billion in 2020 compared to $15.92 billion in 2019.

Foods generated $3.8 billion in net revenues in 2020 compared to $4.34 billion in 2019. 

Starbucks net revenues from the other categories of products were $5.4 billion in 2020 compared to $6.25 billion in 2019.

In 2020, the net revenues of Starbucks were down compared to the previous year mainly due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
