Year 2018 – R&D costs of Samsung reached 18.7 Trillion Korean Won.

Year 2017 – Samsung is an innovative  brand that has managed heavy focus on R&D since its foundation. The number of total R&D sites owned by Samsung has reached 35 in 2017. Its R&D expenses reached 16.8 Trillion KRW  or around 15 Billion dollars rising from 14.8 Trillion KRW or 13.2 Billion dollars (approx.), the previous year.
