IBM or International Business Machine Corporation is one of the leading businesses in cloud industry. Its revenue fell by one percent in 2017. Its revenue increased towards the last two quarters of 2017. the revenue growth towards the second half of the year resulted from higher momentum in cloud business as well as improved growth in consulting and power and storage business. IBM’s 2017 revenue was 79,139 Millions compared to 7919 Million dollars the previous year (2016). While IBM’s revenue had continued to decline since 2011, increased demand for cloud based services can lead to higher revenue in the near future. Its revenue picked up in the second half of 2017 which was a sign that its cloud business was going to take it farther in the near term. In the first quarter of 2018, IBM’s revenue was 19.1 Billion dollars or 19072 Million revenue. During the same period last year, it was 18.15 Billion dollars.
